We’re off to school!

These children, plus 3 more who are currently away, are heading off to school at the end of March.

This is very exciting for these children. It is our goal as a staff to prepare the children for school. I asked some of them how they were feeling and this is what they had to say:

I want to learn more. I want to do exams. I want to go to 6th standard and I want to learn to write Hindi.

Tuzar – 6 years old

I want to learn more. I want to learn English, Hindi, Maths and writing. I want to go to 10th standard.

Sajad – 5 years old

I am looking forward to learning my numbers, abc and Hindi. I want to go to 10th class.

We will be providing each of our students a bag which will be filled with stationery needs and a uniform, a little toy will be in the bag as well. Like a mini graduation gift for these very excited children.

When the children go to school we will open the admissions for the children who are currently on our long waiting list. A lot of these children are 3 and 4 year olds.

Please continue to pray for the above children as they head off to do their schooling and for the little ones who are preparing to start at our centre.

We are still in need of regular financial supporters. Please feel free to contact me if you need further information on this. It costs $770.00 a month to run this centre.
