BAJA TRIPS – SERVE WITH BAJA BOB AND GLOBAL TRIBE

The heart of Global Tribe is serving the needs of “the least of these.” Every day, Baja Christian Ministries provides physical and spiritual ministry to the poor in Baja, Mexico. Parents struggle to provide food and shelter for their children when wages are less than $2.50 a day. Joining Global Tribe provides support for our partners there, and your hands on help is an experience you will cherish a lifetime. Witness first hand the smiles – and tears as parents receive a new home. Work along side Baja Bob and his team sharing the Gospel. Since 2007, more than 20,000 have signed up to study Purple Book with the leaders there, learning about the faith they now believe through a clear inductive method of searching the scriptures.

For 2009, our focus will be:

1. Focus on Baja with a goal of three trips for building and evangelism and distribution of 40,000 Purple Books to new Christians.
2. Expand REACH - our goal is 10 REACH events for 2009, providing these unique evangelistic outreaches with no admission fee required. Already we are exploring dates with Family Life Radio to return to Tucson and to add Albuquerque and Lansing MI.
3. Work to launch the Global Tribe Life and Ministry Training Program, partnering with Pastor John Young to create an intern training and mentoring program that builds a team to minister to youth and young adults searching for answers with life issues. This will include the launch of www.reach4answers.com, devoted to connecting hurting people with resources to provide answers to their questions and direction for their life.
