Global Tribe Children’s Center

Making her Mark: Julie-Ann Clayton has helped build the Global Tribe Children’s Centre Bawana, in India, this is her centre, her passion, and her story.

“Our GOAL is simple, to create a place where the underprivileged children of Bawana, India learn basic life skills, in a fun loving, God filled, safe environment that will empower them throughout their lives.”

In January 2007 Julie Ann headed back to India to open Global Tribe Children’s Centre in Bawana. Bawana is a rural village located 30 kilometers out of Delhi. Julie Ann, affectionately known as “Jig” is working under the joint umbrellas of Global Tribe and HOPE foundation. HOPE foundation, which has many ministries already running in India already works in Bawana running a Tuition Centre which offers after school tutoring to over 100 children.

Global Tribe Children’s Centre is a day center where children come from 9 am in the morning until 4pm in the afternoon. During this time the children will learn hygiene skills, life skills, receive a basic education and learn about God’s values, as well as enjoying a nutritious midday meal.
